Restaurant management and fintech company Foodics has launched Capital 2.0, an AI-powered financing platform designed to assess restaurant eligibility instantly and disburse funds within four hours.

Unveiled at Money20/20 Middle East in Riyadh, the platform uses restaurants’ operational and financial data to assess creditworthiness based on actual business performance rather than a conventional loan application process.

Eligible restaurants can select financing terms and access funding digitally, with repayment collected through small deductions from daily settlements instead of a single monthly instalment.

Foodics is targeting SR 375 million in financing through Capital 2.0 during its first year. Available products include working capital and supplier invoice financing, with ticket sizes starting at around SR 20,000 and reaching SR 2 million or more for expansion financing.

The company said traditional financing can take up to four weeks and may rely on assessment models that do not adequately reflect how restaurants operate, particularly affecting smaller establishments seeking access to capital.

Capital 2.0 extends Foodics beyond restaurant management and payments into data-led financial services, using information already generated within its ecosystem to support lending decisions.

Alongside the financing platform, Foodics showcased new omnichannel payment tools, instant settlement capabilities and updates to the MyFoodics app, which is being developed as a single account for managing sales, liquidity, receivables and financing access.

Foodics operates a cloud-based ecosystem spanning restaurant management, payments and financial services across the MENA region. The company says its platform has processed more than 6 billion orders and has previously raised $170 million in a Series C round.
