Iraq & the Netherlands Launch 2nd Phase of €2.7 Million Startup Fund
The Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF) supports Iraqi entrepreneurs with resources, technical expertise and networking.
The Kingdom of the Netherlands and Iraq Venture Partners (IVP) have officially launched the second phase of the Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF) in Baghdad with a signing ceremony at the Embassy of the Netherlands.
The €2.6 million fund, financed by the Kingdom of the Netherlands and implemented by IVP, is designed to provide Iraqi entrepreneurs with essential resources, including technical expertise, financial support and networking opportunities.
The second phase of OCIF aims to strengthen Iraq’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by mobilising investments and boosting deal flow within the local startup market to drive sustainable long term economic growth.
