Jordan’s ISSF to Launch New Venture Fund with China’s MSA Capital

Jordan's Innovative Startups and SMEs Fund (ISSF) is collaborating with the China-based MSA Capital to create a new venture fund. ISSF is the largest investment fund of its kind in Jordan, making it an attractive partner for MSA Capital, which in turn can offer its global access and connections to China and the East to help ISSF set the foundations for a bustling entrepreneurial environment with international reach in Jordan.

As the holders for the largest portfolio in the MENA region with investments in global sector leaders like Airbnb and Uber, MSA Capital has previously invested in many companies in Jordan, including Fordeal, an online marketplace with over 200 employees. In the past 18 months, MSA Capital has contributed to 25 funding rounds for 19 companies.
