KSA's Grinitfy Teams Up with UK Football Club West Ham United
The Saudi talent discovery platform will act as a gateway for the club's scouting of new players.
English football club West Ham United has entered a multi-year partnership with Jeddah-based startup Grintafy to discover amateur football talent from across the MENA region.
“For the first time in the Middle East and in the world, Grintafy’s technology will be utilised to discover amateur football talents with the dreams to become part of the legendary West Ham United Football Club,” a statement from Grintafy reads.
Launched in 2018, Grintafy allows amateur footballers to sign up through its web and mobile apps to find and organise games, get rated and ranked for their performances, and develop a football portofolio for consideration from scouts and football clubs. More than 500,000 amateur football players have organised over 25,000 games through Grintafy to date.
Following the establishment of their new partnership, Grintafy will arrange a large tryout event in Saudi Arabia with coaches and staff from West Ham Academy.
