Born in India, the company already has a prolific profile with several brands in the UAE.
Foodlink, a luxury catering and banqueting company in India and the UAE has just raised $8 million in a Series B funding round led by Arpit Khandelwal. The company offers handcrafted culinary experiences, curating F&B experiences at weddings and corporate events in the Middle East, the USA, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
With these new funds, Foodlink plans to expand into new zones, taking its luxury banquet brand JADE Luxury Banquets to new markets and to scale up its casual dining businesses India Bistro, China Bistro, and Art of Dum in UAE and India.
Since launching, they’ve already raised $23 million including this current round. In the past, they’ve received $15 million as part of a Series A round led by OAKS Asset Management in 2017.
One of the keys to their recent success is their capitalisation of the pandemic. Foodlink used this period to grow its presence in the UAE, particularly during 2021. The company was able to launch eight new restaurants and cloud kitchens in Dubai and Sharjah in that year alone. Foodlink was also able to work with the Dubai World Trade Centre, as well as other luxury hotels in the UAE.
