MENA’s Podcast Creator Finyal Collaborates With STARZPLAY to Produce Arabic Series
The podcast creator network will release an Arabic-language Vikings-themed series.
Middle Eastern production network Finyal Media is partnering up with global subscription-based on-demand video service provider STARZPLAY to produce an original Arabic podcast series. As the region’s leading podcast creator, Finyal will fulfill STARZPLAY’s mission to increase focus on Arabic content production, producing a 12-episode-long series to be released synonymously with historical drama series Vikings.
“Podcasts are an incredible storytelling medium and we strongly believe that Arabic language podcasts are a great way to help young people reconnect with Arab world. We are excited to partner with STARZPLAY to offer unique content for our Arab listeners,” says Leila Alanani, CEO of Finyal Media.
The podcast will be titled "Vikings – the Nine Realms" and will unfold the remarkable tales of the lives and fascinating adventures of explorers during the Dark Ages, while pertaining to the TV series’ storyline which revolves around Norse Mythology. Securing itself as a key player in the MENA on-demand video landscape, the podcast will be available in the 20 Middle Eastern countries within the STARZPLAY's scope.
