Morocco’s Freterium Raises $4M to Scale Transport SaaS Across MENA
The seed round was led by France-based Partech Partners and included participation from the likes of Y Combinator and Swiss Sounders Fund.
Morocco-based startup, Freterium, has announced the raise of a $4 million seed round led by France-based Partech Partners, with participation from Y Combinator, Flexport, CDG Invest, Swiss Founders Fund and Outlierz Ventures.
Founded in 2020 by Mehdi Cherif Alami and Omar El Kouhene, the Saas startup develops a next-generation transportation management software that connects shippers with their entire logistics ecosystem to collaborate in real-time. From manufacturers and distributors, to retailers and logistics providers, the software is aimed at any kind of company that deals with daily product delivery, helping them to cut shipping time and cost.
The startup has been hailed for its easy-to-use interface and this latest investment brings their total funding up to a total of $7.3 million. It’s believed that it will be channelled into scaling the software across MENA.
