Morocco’s PrestaFreedom Raises $1.1 Million From Azur Innovation Fund
The move will enable the startup to expand its operations geographically, with plans to enter various African markets next year.
PrestaFreedom, a home services marketplace based in Morocco, has recently secured a $1.1 million (MDH 11,000,000) investment from Azur Innovation Fund. Established in 2020 by Majid Bensilmane, the startup offers a comprehensive range of home maintenance services through monthly and weekly subscription plans. With a customer base of one thousand users, PrestaFreedom has been gaining traction in the market.
PrestaFreedom intends to use the investment to enhance its logistics and technology infrastructure. The move will enable the startup to expand its operations geographically, with plans to enter various African markets next year.
“This serves as a crucial step in the development of this startup that I launched a few years ago, whose goal is to meet a particular need in the market and whose success today exceeds the expectations,” Majid Bensilmane, founder and CEO of PrestaFreedom, tells StartupScene.
In addition to the recent funding, PrestaFreedom disclosed that it had secured several other investments to expedite its go-to-market efforts. The company is determined to strengthen its position in the market, with plans to revolutionise the home services sector.
