Sharjah-based startup Mughamer.com has launched the first website in the Middle East to facilitate tourists’ and thrill seekers’ curation of adventure-filled activities across destinations like the UAE, Morocco, Brazil and Comoros Island.
The startup was co-founded by Mohamed Al Musharrkh and Sarmad Al Zadjaly, who were able to bring their plans to fruition with support from the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa) and the Sharjah Angel Investors Network.
“The launch of Mughamer.com reflects the growing opportunities Sharjah presents to help startups grow at a rapid pace and achieve great heights,” Najla Al Midfa, CEO of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa), said. “The relentless passion and commitment we see from entrepreneurs in Sharjah is unparalleled, and we want to continue to create an environment that supports founders to build tech ventures that will contribute to the growth of not just Sharjah but the UAE as a whole.”
The website offers its services in Arabic, English, Hindi, French and Spanish, and allows travellers to access a range of adventurous experiences, like safaris, mountain climbing, trekking, cycling, desert driving and camping trips through participating agents and destinations. The next phase of the project will expand the list of featured activities to include activities such as exploring dormant volcanoes, deep sea diving and aerial adventures.
