Oraseya Capital, the venture capital arm managed under the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority, has doubled its fund to Dh1 billion, or around $272 million, while raising its maximum investment per startup to $6 million.

The expanded mandate allows Oraseya Capital to participate in larger funding rounds, invest beyond the Series B stage and back international technology companies with strategic relevance to the UAE. The firm will place greater emphasis on sectors including artificial intelligence, fintech, digital assets, healthcare and longevity.

Since launching in November 2023, Oraseya Capital has built a portfolio of 66 active companies. Their combined annual recurring revenue has risen from around $180 million at the time of investment to $387 million, including $140 million generated in the UAE, while portfolio companies have collectively raised $1.1 billion.

Oraseya Capital also operates the SANDBOX Investment Program, which provides $150,000 to selected startups, alongside its six-month LAUNCHPAD programme. According to MAGNiTT data, the firm ranked as the UAE’s most active investor by deal count in 2024 and 2025, and led the country in overall and early-stage deal activity during the first half of 2026.
