Two new centres in Riyadh, completed in late 2025 and mid-2026, will provide hubs for domestic tech innovation.
Oil and gas giant Saudi Aramco is expanding its Saudi Accelerated Innovation Laboratory (SAIL), opening two new centres in Riyadh to provide technological solutions for government sectors, specialising in digital product manufacturing. The two new centres are slated to begin operations in late 2025 and mid-2026 respectively.
Launched in November 2023, SAIL aims to drive digital progress in the Kingdom, with its own generative AI model showcased at their Leap Conference in March. The initiative hopes to draw global leaders to Saudi Arabia to invest in the tech-heavy future of the country, particularly concerning AI and quantum leaps in big data analytics.
