Takeem Secures Backing From Second Century VC’s REACH ME Project
The rental platform gains backing from Second Century Ventures via REACH ME.
UAE-based proptech company Takeem has secured investment through REACH Middle East, the regional arm of Second Century Ventures’ REACH scale-up programme, as it looks to expand its rental risk and guarantee platform.
Second Century Ventures is the strategic investment arm of the US National Association of Realtors and is recognised as one of the largest and most active venture capital investors in real estate technology globally. Through REACH Middle East, the firm supports high-growth proptech companies across the region.
In under a year, Takeem has onboarded more than 55,000 residential units to its platform, representing over Dh5 billion in annual rental value. The company is now entering the B2C segment to support smaller landlords and their tenants, building on its existing institutional and portfolio-level footprint.
Takeem’s model centres on a proprietary risk intelligence engine and a rental guarantee structure designed to reduce landlord exposure, improve yield predictability, expand tenant access and support affordability. The platform positions itself as infrastructure for rental markets, replacing reliance on manual processes and informal trust with structured risk assessment and measurable performance.
REACH operates across the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Latin America and the Middle East.
Takeem has received several industry recognitions since launch, including Most Advanced App at the Create Apps Award in April 2024 under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan and supported by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy. In 2025, it was named Startup of the Year at the Tech Innovation Awards, Runner Up PropTech of the Year at the Property Finder Awards, and PropTech of the Year at the World Reality Congress.
