The Egyptian logistics startup will use the funding to expand its technology, micro-fulfilment network and support for e-commerce brands.
Egyptian logistics startup Turuq Innovations has secured seed investment from Den VC to expand its technology and logistics network for e-commerce businesses.
Founded by Ahmed Atta and Karim Kamal, Turuq is building an integrated platform that connects warehousing, inventory management, order fulfilment and last-mile delivery, giving online merchants greater control over their logistics operations.
The funding will be used to develop the company’s proprietary technology, strengthen its micro-fulfilment network and expand services for growing e-commerce brands.
Turuq is an alumnus of the InvestIT programme, launched in partnership with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency, the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and Flat6Labs. The company is positioning its platform as infrastructure for merchants looking to manage logistics more efficiently across multiple stages of the delivery process.
