Amidst its efforts to establish itself as a global tech investment hub, the UAE will issue 100,000 golden visas to the best programmers available. These visas will grant long-term residencies to entrepreneurs and talents who specialise in coding.
The UAE is actively pushing for the acceleration of digital development with the formation of alliances between government entities, multinational corporations and the private industry. The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy reported that the national digital economy could expand to more than $140 billion by 2031, up from $38 billion in 2023.
The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy recently organised the 10th edition of its regular digital industry workshops to focus on software development and the emergence of artificial intelligence.
