Healthtech startup iQtech has closed its first investment round to support the development of its cross-reality medical training platform. The company operates from Qatar Science & Technology Park in Doha and received backing from European assessment technology firm Selexi and deep-tech partner Yuniro.

Founded in 2025 by Nassim Davide Sidaoui, iQtech is building EsculapioVR, an artificial intelligence-powered training and assessment platform designed for medical education. The system combines virtual reality simulations with AI-based performance evaluation to support training and skills assessment for healthcare professionals.

The company focuses on advanced medical simulation and cross-reality technologies, positioning its platform as a tool for immersive learning environments where trainees can practise procedures and receive data-driven feedback.

According to iQtech, the investment will be used to accelerate product development, strengthen technical infrastructure and expand deployments across Qatar and the wider Middle East and North Africa.

Beyond healthcare training, the platform is also being developed for applications in civil and military training environments, reflecting broader use cases for cross-reality simulation technologies.
