AI Cloud Platform for Developers Launches in Algeria
Developed with Algeria Venture and Taubyte, the platform expands access to AI development tools and supports local innovation.
A new artificial intelligence cloud platform has been introduced in Algeria to provide developers, startups, and enterprises with access to locally hosted AI and cloud-based tools.
The platform, AventureCloudz, was launched by Djezzy, Algeria’s telecom operator, in partnership with Algeria Venture, a government-backed startup accelerator, and Taubyte, a technology startup specialising in cloud infrastructure.
Designed as a full-stack development environment, AventureCloudz will be hosted exclusively on Djezzy’s cloud marketplace. The platform is powered by Taubyte’s open-source, Git-native technology, positioning it as a locally developed alternative to global cloud service providers.
According to the companies, the platform is intended to accelerate development timelines, improve time-to-market for digital products, and expand access to infrastructure for emerging technology talent. It is structured to support a range of users, from individual developers to startups and larger enterprises.
The system provides a secure and scalable environment for building and deploying artificial intelligence applications, while contributing to efforts aimed at strengthening domestic technological capabilities.
