Asana Launches in UAE via AWS to Boost AI-Powered Work Management
The rollout brings a global work platform into a regional cloud, aligning with Middle East digital transformation and governance needs.
Asana, a US-based work management platform that helps teams coordinate projects and workflows, is now hosted in the UAE through Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon’s cloud computing division.
The expansion means organisations in the UAE, particularly those in regulated industries and the public sector, can use Asana while meeting local data residency requirements. Hosting within the AWS Middle East (UAE) Region allows customer data to remain stored inside the country rather than overseas.
The launch comes amid large-scale digital transformation efforts across the region, including government modernisation programmes and infrastructure projects that rely on secure, cloud-based collaboration tools.
The AWS Middle East (UAE) Region provides enterprise-grade security controls, including encryption, role-based access management and audit capabilities designed to integrate with existing IT and compliance frameworks. Asana is also working with regional partners to support implementation and regulatory alignment across sectors.
