Dubai-Based Tribe Expands Real Estate Tokenisation Platform to Qatar

Tribe has incorporated under the Qatar Financial Centre and joined its Digital Assets Lab to develop its property tokenisation model.

Dubai-based real estate tokenisation startup Tribe has expanded into Qatar, incorporating Tribe RWA Technologies LLC under the Qatar Financial Centre and joining the QFC Digital Assets Lab.

The move follows the company’s graduation from Qatar FinTech Hub’s accelerator, operated by Qatar Development Bank, and extends Tribe’s operations beyond Dubai.

Admission to the Digital Assets Lab does not constitute an operating licence. Tribe said it will use the programme to develop its real-world asset tokenisation model with the Qatar Financial Centre while continuing through the local regulatory process.

In Dubai, the company operates through Tribe Tokenisation FZE, which it says holds a Broker-Dealer licence from the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority.

Tribe was founded around the idea of making property investment more accessible through fractional, tokenised ownership. Rather than requiring investors to commit large amounts of capital to a single property, its platform is designed to allow smaller allocations across multiple assets.

The company says each property is underwritten before being offered, with the asset, legal structure, investment terms, ownership rights, governance and fees defined before capital is accepted.

The Qatar expansion comes as the country continues to develop its fintech sector under wider economic diversification plans. Qatar’s National Fintech Strategy includes a target to triple the number of licensed fintech companies by 2027, while the Third National Development Strategy sets a USD 100 billion foreign direct investment goal.
