This expansion marks the company’s fourth launch in the MENA region after the highly successful launch in Kuwait in early 2019.
London-based food delivery platform, Deliveroo has launched in Sharjah to mark the launch of their operations in the third city in the UAE and fourth in the MENA region overall. Residents of Sharjah can now order their favourite food through the mobile and web-based app whenever and wherever they want it.
As one of Europe's fastest-growing startups, Deliveroo currently works with 80,000 restaurants and 60,000 riders around the world, bringing breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between straight to customers’ doors, offices or on-the-go.

To celebrate their Sharjah launch, Deliveroo is offering free delivery to all customers across the city from a selection of 115 restaurants. Restaurants launching on Deliveroo in Sharjah include big names such as PAUL Bakery and Restaurant, Pizza Hut, and Nando’s.
Deliveroo is also celebrating their 4th birthday in the UAE, as the delivery platform gears up to introduce Dubai’s first ever interactive food pop up experience, ‘Design, Delivered’ as their take on the city’s highly sought after Dubai Design Week. The temporary pop up will be open to the public between 12th – 16th November and promises a journey through the multiple stages of food delivery via edible and interactive art and food installations.
