Humain, the artificial intelligence subsidiary launched by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, has partnered with Nvidia on a multi-year programme focused on AI infrastructure, sovereign AI development and autonomous mobility technologies in the Kingdom.

Under the agreement, Humain plans to develop AI factories with a projected capacity of up to 500 megawatts and deploy several hundred thousand Nvidia GPUs over the next five years.

The first phase of the programme includes an 18,000-GPU GB300 Grace Blackwell supercomputer connected through Nvidia InfiniBand networking technology.

According to Nvidia, the infrastructure will be used to support the training and deployment of sovereign AI models as well as large-scale simulation workloads.

The partnership also includes the deployment of Nvidia Omniverse, a simulation and digital twin platform designed to support applications across robotics, manufacturing and logistics.

Within the mobility sector, the initiative is intended to support Saudi Arabia's ambitions in autonomous transport by providing computing infrastructure and simulation tools for testing, validation and development.

The announced rollout represents one of the region's largest planned AI computing deployments and forms part of broader efforts to expand advanced digital infrastructure within Saudi Arabia.
