Riyadh residents can officially call a cab with Indrive. The ride-hailing service just launched in the capital, marking the company’s second city in Saudi Arabia after Jeddah. The platform has been downloaded more than 360 million times and has ranked as the second most downloaded ride-hailing app globally.

The Riyadh entry builds on a footprint already spanning cities in Morocco, Egypt and Algeria. The app stands out by allowing riders to propose a fare that drivers can accept, reject, or counter, with service fees two to three times lower than industry norms.

Globally, the company has completed over 6.5 billion transactions and reached EBITDA profitability. Its expansion into Riyadh comes as it looks to strengthen its role in mobile-first markets while offering an alternative approach to urban transport.
