Relm Secures VARA Licence to Operate Digital Asset Services in Dubai
Relm has been granted a VARA licence to operate as a regulated virtual asset broker-dealer in Dubai.
Relm, a UAE-based virtual asset service provider operating as XBASE Virtual Assets Broker & Dealer Services LLC and a subsidiary of XBD Group, has received a full Virtual Asset Service Provider licence from Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority.
The licence authorises the company to operate as a regulated virtual assets broker-dealer, offering compliant digital asset trading and over-the-counter services to institutional clients, enterprises and qualified counterparties in and through the region.
The approval follows completion of VARA’s licensing process, including an earlier in-principle approval, with the company stating it has met regulatory, governance, risk and operational requirements.
With the licence in place, Relm is now authorised to onboard clients and begin regulated operations from Dubai within the regulator’s framework.
Relm’s regulated offering will focus on over-the-counter crypto trading, broker-dealer services and enterprise-grade digital asset execution tailored to professional market participants.
