Nour Emam, CEO of fem-tech company Motherbeing and sexual health educator, has been recognised as one of the BBC 100 Women of 2024, which celebrates 100 influential women from around the globe. This year’s list was particularly special, as honorees were selected for their resilience in the face of global challenges.

Emam is the co-founder of Motherbeing, a fem-tech company dedicated to breaking taboos around women's health. She is behind the creation of Daleela, an AI-powered health assistant designed specifically for Arab women, offering personalized support and empowering them to take control of their sexual and reproductive health. By using technology to address the health needs of Arab women, she bridges the gaps in care and promotes open conversations around topics that have often been considered taboo, while centering Arab women in the conversation.

Nour Emam was previously featured on CairoScene’s Impact List 2020.
