Talabat Mart & Elite Agro Sign MoU to Source Fresh Food From UAE Farms
The pact will source fruits vegetables and eggs from Elite Agro’s UAE farms into talabat mart’s dark stores, aiming to cut import reliance and speed up delivery across the platform.
talabat mart, the grocery arm of talabat, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Elite Agro Holding to source fruits, vegetables and eggs directly from farms in the United Arab Emirates.
The agreement introduces a farm-to-consumer supply channel designed to shorten supply chains, improve delivery speed and increase product availability across talabat mart’s network of dark stores.
Under the partnership, locally sourced produce will be integrated into the platform’s operations through coordinated demand planning and supply chain optimisation, aimed at improving efficiency and ensuring more consistent supply.
Consumer demand for locally sourced produce continues to rise in the UAE, with shoppers prioritising quality, transparency and faster delivery times in grocery retail.
