The collaboration aims to move business communication beyond SMS with verified messaging and rich media interactions.

Stockholm-based communications platform Truecaller has partnered with regional communications technology provider Cloudcom to introduce Truecaller’s Business Chat service to enterprises in Egypt.

The initiative expands business-to-consumer communication beyond traditional SMS by enabling verified messaging with rich media capabilities. Businesses will be able to send messages containing images, videos and documents, alongside a verified sender identity displaying the brand name, logo and a green verification badge.

The platform also includes interactive functions such as one-tap actions that allow users to copy one-time passwords, track orders or complete web check-ins directly from messages. Time-sensitive updates, including authentication codes or travel notifications, can appear as pinned alerts within conversations.

The service is designed to support different stages of customer interaction, from authentication and payment reminders to order updates and feedback collection. Through the partnership, the channel will be integrated into Cloudcom’s omnichannel communications platform.

Truecaller reports more than 450 million active users worldwide and over one billion downloads since launch, and states that its systems identified 68 billion spam and fraud calls in 2025. The company has been publicly listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm since October 2021.

Cloudcom operates as a communications platform-as-a-service provider offering messaging and identity solutions across channels including SMS, email, WhatsApp, push notifications and social media, alongside authentication services such as one-time passwords and password-less login systems.
