UAE-Based Crypto Asset Manager Sigma Capital Launches $100M Fund
The fund will support early-stage Web3 startups, liquid tokens and global blockchain innovation.
Sigma Capital, a Web3 venture asset manager, has launched its $100 million Sigma Capital Fund I to drive the next wave of Web3 innovation in the Middle East and globally.
The fund will focus on early-stage investments in areas such as decentralised finance (DeFi), blockchain infrastructure, tokenization, gaming and the Metaverse. It will also manage a portfolio of liquid tokens and employ high-yield DeFi strategies to optimize performance.
The fund will invest in 100 early-stage projects, 25 liquid tokens, and 10 fund-of-funds allocations over the next three years. With a presence in Dubai, Singapore and the Cayman Islands, Sigma Capital plans to leverage its global network to provide market insights and support for portfolio companies.
