EGBANK Opens MINT Office, Its Youth-Dedicated Platform, at the Greek Campus
MINT provides professional consultations to young entrepreneurs and startups in Egypt’s largest gatherings for young innovators
EGBANK has just launched its MINT office, its youth-dedicated sub-brand at the Greek Campus downtown Cairo; catering to the needs of younger generation between 16 to 29 years. MINT personal bankers will offer advice to young entrepreneurs, in order to help them achieve sustainable growth.
The presence of EGBANK through MINT in the heart of the Greek Campus - which is considered the largest gathering of entrepreneurs and startups in the country - is considered a strategic step for EGBANK to be in direct contact with youth and entrepreneurs.
"This strategic location, where startups, investors and entrepreneurs meet, is a perfect choice for MINT to reaffirm its presence in the heart of the startup scene," says Moemen Salem, Head of Youth Banking, EGBANK. "We look forward to provide them with needed advice which should support them in making informative and technical decisions”
MINT by EGBANK previously launched The Startup Account which is a dedicated banking account for newly established businesses. The account takes in consideration the nature and specific needs of startups, particularly in the initial phase of starting a business. The startup account provides a package of benefits, including but not limited to personal banking services, competitive interest rates, low fees, and more.
On the non-banking level, MINT by EGBANK has cooperated with Cairo Angels in establishing MINT Incubator, which offers specialised training courses to business owners in accounting, budgeting, marketing, human resources, taxation and more. The beneficiaries of these training are youth in 16 to 29 years’ age bracket, the exact target audience of MINT.
“Youth are one of the main priorities for EGBANK, which is why we’ve launched MINT and other banking and non-banking initiatives, to help achieve skills development for Egyptian youth with a special focus on entrepreneurs and startups,” concludes Salem. “This talented young generation is the real future of Egypt, and represent a huge economic segment, whose financial and technical needs are catered to by MINT in a unique style."
