Milken Institute's Middle East & Africa Summit to Take Place in UAE

California-based economic think-tank, the Milken Institute has announced its seventh annual Middle East and Africa Summit, scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on December 4th–5th, 2025. The 2025 event, held at the St. Regis on Saadiyat Island, will operate under the theme: 'Progress with Purpose: Advancing Meaningful Partnerships'. The forum will gather investors, policymakers, industry leaders and philanthropists to exchange ideas and develop applied solutions for the region's most pressing challenges. Panel discussions will feature a wide range of critical topics, including AI, technology, and innovation, as well as access to capital, economic opportunity, health, medical research, sustainability, and policy and regulation. The Institute notes that the agenda is framed by current global shifts in geopolitics, climate imperatives, and rapid technological advancements. The Institute emphasised the strategic importance of the host regions, highlighting the Middle East and Africa's youthful demographics, focus on cooperation, and unique geographic location. This year's summit continues the momentum of past forums, which focused on themes like 2024's 'Investing in a Shared Future' and 'Navigating Complexity through Collaboration' in 2023.
