Happening on March 25.

Staff Writer

In mid-February, STEP Group announced its extending its arms of conferences to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on March 25th. With over 100 startups showcasing and over 50 companies and government entities attending, STEP Saudi will host panels and fireside chats with four content tracks: startups, digital media, fintech, and future tech.

The announcement was made during the two-day STEP Conference in Dubai earlier this month. Curating focused networking opportunities and meet-ups across industries, job levels, game-changing tech companies and brands across multiple industries are also expected to participate at STEP Saudi, where startups and attendees get the chance to connect with the best in their industry and learn what’s new in the market. Participating companies haven’t been announced yet, but the line-up has been up and ready since last week.

The line-up includes some of Saudi Arabia’s emerging entrepreneurial landscape and tech scene. The list includes BECO Capital’s Yousef Hammad, mountaineer Raha Moharrak, Zid Holding’s Mazen Al-Darrab, tech-humanitarian Nasreen Alissa, multi-disciplinary influencer Adwa ElDakheel, Babson Global’s Amal Dhokan, and Foodics’ Ahmad Al Zaini.

STEP started out as a series of workshops and small gatherings, and over seven years, has grown to become one of the largest tech and entrepreneurial events in the Middle East. The last STEP in Dubai featured four conferences, over 250 startups, and over 6000 attendees on the course of two days.
