GCC Events Platform The Hub App Expands to Egypt and Nigeria With Six-Figure Investment
The app is vying to take its service globally, beyond the GCC, to become a fully-fledged tool used by events organisers globally.
The Hub App, a GCC-focused events invitation and RSVP management tool launched in July 2020, has now expanded to Egypt and Nigeria. The app has recently scored a six-figure pre-seed round, led by Saudi-based angel investors, that helped propel the startup to regional expansion and beyond.
“We saw the need to improve invitations management and invitees’ response to such invitations. This is where The Hub App was born to simplify this hectic and time-consuming process,” says Co-Founder Saleh Alothaim. “The Hub App will be the preferred method for people to use instead of the existing traditional way using different social platforms and tracking people to get their response and sharing event details, including any updates to these events. With The Hub App, that’s only a click of a button.”
Founded by Alothaim and Alessandro Pecorelli, the app aims to provide a succinct events platform experience that is both quick and efficient. Users are able to register their events, receive responses and include every tidbit of information that guests would seek.
With the fresh funds, The Hub App will zero-in on its marketing to establish its name as a go-to events app in new territories, as well as develop its current interface and app features. The platform already supports a multitude of languages, including Arabic, English, German and Russian, with eyes to not only expand regionally, but take The Hub App international.
