Syarah Raises $12 Million From Impact46 to Expand Across Saudi Arabia
The car marketplace will use the funding to expand nationwide and further develop its digital car-buying and delivery platform.
Saudi online automotive marketplace Syarah has raised $12 million from Impact46, a Riyadh-based venture capital firm investing across technology and growth companies, to expand its new-and-used car platform across the Kingdom.
Syarah allows customers to browse available vehicles, complete purchases remotely and have cars delivered to their location, moving much of the conventional dealership process online. The platform already serves buyers across all regions of Saudi Arabia and has handled thousands of purchases.
The new capital is expected to support further development of Syarah’s digital platform and delivery operations as it scales nationwide. The company has not disclosed the stage of the round or provided a detailed breakdown of how the funding will be allocated.
The model brings new and used vehicles into a single online marketplace, allowing customers to complete a traditionally showroom-heavy purchase remotely while giving Syarah a way to reach buyers beyond the largest urban centres without relying on the same physical dealership footprint.
