UAE-Based Men’s Wellness App Better Secures $550,000 Pre-Seed Round

Better, a UAE-based wellness app, has raised $550,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Salica Spring Studios’ fund, with additional backing from Salica Investments, Al Waha Fund of Funds and +VC. The funding comes just a month after the app’s launch.

Founded in 2024 by Walid Dib and Hassanain Anver, Better aims to provide men with personalised solutions for physical health while fostering a safe, supportive space for open discussions around wellness.

“Wellness shouldn’t be a luxury—it’s the right of every man in the Middle East,” Dib stated. He highlighted the rapid adoption of the platform since its launch, driven by increasing demand for its innovative products.

The app’s subscription-based model offers tailored supplements and prescription medications addressing sensitive issues like intimacy and hair loss, developed within the UAE. The fresh capital will allow Better to enhance its offerings, including proprietary treatments designed as effective alternatives to traditional methods.
