Al Faisal Holding & BKN301 Launch Qatar Fintech Venture
The new venture will combine Al Faisal Holding’s local network with BKN301’s digital banking and AI infrastructure.
Al Faisal Holding and financial technology provider BKN301 have formed a strategic partnership to launch AFH FINTEQ FOR TRADING and SERVICES, a new venture focused on fintech and digital banking across Qatar and the wider GCC.
Announced in Doha on September 9th, the partnership combines Al Faisal Holding’s local institutional network with BKN301’s technology platform and experience in digital banking, financial data infrastructure and AI-enabled financial services.
BKN301 develops infrastructure connecting regulated banking systems, artificial intelligence and digital assets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Its BKN301 Orchestrator brings together API management, data infrastructure and AI capabilities within a single platform designed for financial institutions.
The new venture is expected to work on adapting and deploying these technologies for regional financial institutions, with a focus on digital banking infrastructure, financial-service integration and AI-enabled systems.
“This partnership represents an important step in advancing Qatar’s FinTech and digital banking ecosystem by localizing proven technology from developed markets and adapting it for regional needs,” said Ali Mahmoudy, Chief Strategy Officer at Al Faisal Holding.
The partnership is positioned around Qatar National Vision 2030’s focus on digital infrastructure, financial-sector development and private-sector growth, while also targeting opportunities across other GCC markets.
