Mumtalakat & BENEFIT Partner to Explore Fintech Investments
The agreement will assess opportunities across payments, digital wallets, smart data and fintech platforms.
Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company and BENEFIT have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to explore new investment and growth opportunities across payments and financial technology.
The partnership will assess opportunities in digital wallets, unified payment platforms, enterprise technology, smart data services and broader fintech innovation. The two organisations said they will focus on initiatives that can be tested and scaled in Bahrain before potential regional or international expansion.
The agreement also covers selected investment opportunities in overseas markets through partnerships, alliances and other investment structures. Proposed projects will first be evaluated for commercial and investment feasibility before any implementation, subject to regulatory requirements and approvals.
Mumtalakat said the partnership combines its investment expertise with BENEFIT’s experience in payments and data, with the aim of identifying projects that can generate long-term value. BENEFIT added that the collaboration is intended to support the development of new digital services for individuals and businesses and strengthen Bahrain’s position in the regional fintech sector.
