Crypto Exchange ChangeNOW Opens MENA HQ at Dubai World Trade Centre
The crypto platform is establishing a physical presence to expand its partnerships in the Middle East.
ChangeNOW, a non-custodial cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in Europe, has opened a regional headquarters at Dubai World Trade Centre, marking its expansion into the Middle East.
Located in Convention Tower, the new office is intended to support closer collaboration with developers, partners and users in the region, shifting from an online-only model to in-person engagement.
The company said the Dubai base will serve as a hub for community activity, allowing entrepreneurs and crypto users to connect with its team, explore integrations and access its platform, which supports over 1,500 digital assets and enables near-instant swaps across more than 110 blockchains.
Founded in 2017, ChangeNOW operates as a non-custodial exchange, meaning it does not hold customer funds. The platform reports more than 8 million users globally and supports over 70 fiat currencies alongside its digital asset services.
According to Pauline Shangett, Chief Strategy Officer at ChangeNOW, the move reflects a commitment to building long-term relationships in the region and contributing to its digital economy.
The company cited Dubai’s infrastructure and regulatory environment for blockchain as key factors behind the decision, and said the new office will support local hiring and deeper integration into the UAE’s technology ecosystem.
