KSA Travel Platform Almosafer Become’s First App to Launch on ChatGPT
Almosafer becomes the first Saudi app on ChatGPT, offering AI-powered travel recommendations and booking tools.
Trip planning has long meant juggling tabs and filters. Riyadh-based travel company Almosafer says the process can now begin with a chat. The company has launched on the ChatGPT platform, becoming the first application from Saudi Arabia to offer consumer services through OpenAI’s interface.
The integration allows users to access the Almosafer App within ChatGPT to search from an inventory of more than 1.5 million hotels, receive personalised recommendations and plan multi-city itineraries in both Arabic and English.
The system is designed to interpret conversational prompts based on user preferences, including factors such as proximity to landmarks or suitability for families, and generate tailored travel options.
The launch forms part of Almosafer’s broader digital strategy to enhance customer experience through AI-powered tools and conversational interfaces.
The company said the app is now live and available to users, positioning the service as a step towards more integrated and automated travel planning.
