Misr Life Insurance Set for EGX Listing Before End of 2026
The investment minister said the life insurer is expected to complete its Egyptian Exchange listing before the end of next year.
Misr Life Insurance is expected to complete its listing on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) before the end of 2026, according to Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El Khatib.
The minister said the life insurer is targeting completion of the listing process before year-end, setting a timetable for the company's long-planned debut on the Egyptian stock market.
The planned listing is expected to add one of Egypt's largest life insurance providers to the exchange, broadening investment opportunities within the country's financial services sector.
The move also forms part of wider efforts to deepen Egypt's capital markets by bringing additional state-affiliated companies to the Egyptian Exchange and increasing the range of listed firms available to investors.
Further details on the offering, including the size of the stake to be listed and the proposed timeline for the transaction, are expected to be announced as the process progresses.
