Qewam Holding’s acquisition of Iwan Ventures in Saudi Arabia has launched the Q Fund, a dedicated investment arm designed to support early-stage founders through capital, operational guidance, and access to a broad technology-driven infrastructure. The move reflects a strategic shift inside Qewam to consolidate its venture-building capabilities under a single platform that can work closely with teams from their earliest stages of development.

The fund will be led by Lewa Abukhait, whose work across venture investment and ecosystem building has shaped several regional startup programs. His mandate centres on supporting founders working on solutions tied to emerging technologies and pressing market needs. Under his leadership, Q Fund will use Qewam’s AI systems, industry partnerships, and internal talent to help startups refine their products and scale into new markets.

Executives across Qewam describe the fund as an extension of the company’s approach to developing ventures with long-term potential. "Q Fund reflects Qewam’s founder-first philosophy," said Sami AlKhlout, COO of Qewam Holding. "With this launch, we’re reinforcing our ability to stand beside founders from day zero all the way to scale. It’s a proud moment for our team and a fresh opportunity to build the future together.”

Qewam CEO, Wael Altorabi, reflected these sentiments and highlighted the fund's alignment with with Saudi Arabia’s broader plans for economic diversification and the growing role of technology within national development. "This move advances our commitment to backing visionary founders, accelerating economic diversification, and aligning with the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030," he said. "Together, we aim to fuel the rise of bold, impactful ventures.”

By bringing Iwan Ventures under Qewam’s umbrella, the company aims to create an integrated pathway that connects founders to both investment and the infrastructure required to advance their ideas.
