Yalla Xtech Accelerator to Launch for Egyptian & Jordanian Startups
Participants in the two-month accelerator will be provided access to an extensive network of valuable connections, legal and regulatory guidance and other tools to support them in their journeys
UAE-based Fintech Galaxy and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) have come together to launch Yalla Xtech, a new regional accelerator program for Egyptian and Jordanian startups aimed at promoting cross-border inclusion and knowledge sharing. The new programme will help fuel these startups’ expansion across borders by providing them with the needed tools, resources and network to grow.
Startups selected for the two-month accelerator will be provided access to an extensive network of valuable connections, legal and regulatory guidance and other tools to support them in their journeys expanding into new markets. Fintech Galaxy’s cloud-based innovation Finx22 will power the program, offering tech startups in Egypt and Jordan an open banking API sandbox to develop and deploy their apps.
“We are proud to team up with GIZ to be able to support entrepreneurs and startups across the ecosystems of Jordan and Egypt and their ability to expand across borders. The Yalla Xtech program highlights our commitment to creating a common regional digital space for better connectivity that helps speed up the process of digital transformation and moves the needle in financial inclusion through collaborative innovation,” said Mirna Sleiman, founder and CEO of Fintech Galaxy.
Applications for the first edition are closed. The programme will kick-off on October 31st.
