KSA's Fintech Tour Announces Dates of Virtual 2020 Edition with 24 Events and 50 Speakers
It might be going virtual, but Fintech Saudi's annual showpiece project is still aiming high.
Fintech Saudi has announced the dates of their third annual Fintech Tour, which will be held from November 29th to December 10th, all virtually. Fintech Saudi is an initiative created by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority in an attempt to support the growth of Saudi Arabia’s fintech industry. Fintech Tour is the region’s largest event focusing on the fintech space, combining lectures, panel discussions and workshops in both English and Arabic on a variety of fintech topics that are led and moderated by both local and international industry leaders.
Fintech Tour 20 comes off the back of a very well received Fintech Tour 19, which hosted events across the GCC and drew over 3,000 participants. This year’s tour will be centered around three key pillars: Fintech Trends, Saudi Deep Dives, and Entrepreneurship Skills. There will be 24 events with over 50 local and international expert speakers and moderators; some of the events to look forward to include panel discussion with high profile fintech founders, a case study on Greensill (Saudi Arabia’s first fintech unicorn), and a workshop with four of the top fintech firms in MENA.
This event will not only bring together fintech experts but there will also be opportunities aimed at supporting entrepreneurs through workshops as well as events that aim to provide a better understanding of the fintech landscape in Saudi Arabia. Director of Fintech Saudi said, “Aligned to the interests of the G20 countries to support the development of the fintech industry, we need to inspire more people to learn about fintech.
