On February 16th at 6 PM, Founder’s Space will host Egypt’s Red Bull Basement National Final, where ten early-stage founders will compete for a place at the global final in Silicon Valley and a chance to secure $100,000 in equity-free funding.

Red Bull Basement focuses on backing student and early-stage innovators using technology, particularly artificial intelligence, to tackle practical, everyday challenges. This year’s finalists have developed their ideas through AI tools and structured mentorship, preparing to present their concepts live before a panel of industry leaders.

The national winner will advance to the World Final in Silicon Valley, gaining access to global networks, industry exposure and further development opportunities. The programme positions itself as a pathway for technology-driven ventures seeking international visibility and scale.

This year’s jury includes Ahmed Hammouda, CEO of investment platform Thndr; Ali El Attar, technology strategist at Microsoft; Ahmed Youssry, co-founder of Rabbit; and Karima El Hakim, Partner for Africa at Plug and Play Tech Center. The panel will assess pitches based on innovation, feasibility and potential impact.

The event is open to those interested in Egypt’s startup ecosystem, offering an opportunity to hear emerging founders present AI-powered solutions while engaging with investors, operators and technology leaders in one settin
