Session on the Past, Present and Future of E-Commerce to Take Place in Cairo

Co-working space, AlMaqarr, and award-winning tech community platform, Tafra, are teaming up to explore the complex history of e-commerce. The two Cairo-based entities will host a special four-hour session at the Heliopolis branch of AlMaqarr, with three speakers set to share their experiences of the sector: Head of Digital at Al Araby Group, Manal Negmeldin, as well as two of the figures from virtual shopping assistance SaaS platform, Tactful AI; CTO, Mohamed Hassan, and Customer Success Lead, Ahmed Fouad

Targeting all level of stakeholder in the e-commerce eco-system, including entrepreneurs, customer support agents, marketers and media buyers, the session will look at the process of digital transformation, taking AlAraby Group as a case study. It will also go beyond looking at aspects such as AI as a technology, instead also exploring specific tools and raising questions in regards to how much any given business could and should rely on it.
