Egyptian Customer Experience Firm CMILES CX Acquired by QuestionPro
The acquisition by US-based QuestionPro reflects a strategic move to expand its operations in the MENA region.
US-based QuestionPro has acquired CMILES CX, an Egyptian company specializing in customer experience technology solutions. This acquisition aims to leverage CMILES CX's strong reputation and market share in the MENA region, where it has been operating for the last three years. During that time, CMILES CX has served over 340 clients and has boasted more than 800 physical feedback collection points.
The acquisition was led by Vivek Bhaskran, Founder & CEO of QuestionPro, and Sindhu Sreenath, Managing Director MENA Region at QuestionPro. CMILES CX's co-founders, Ahmed Hamdy (CEO) and Kerolos Nashaat (COO), both graduates of AUC, have backgrounds in electronics engineering and finance.
Since its inception in February 2021, CMILES CX has collaborated with market leaders across various sectors in Egypt, including healthcare, retail and real estate. The company's mission has been to develop robust customer experience tools to enhance businesses' overall customer journey and raise awareness about the importance of customer experience. In 2023, CMILES CX organized Egypt's first customer experience expo, CUEX, at the Greek Campus, featuring industry speakers and panels. Additionally, in April 2024, they launched ‘CX & Coffee’, the first Arabic customer experience podcast in the region, featuring experts from the field.
The acquisition of CMILES CX by QuestionPro, a company with 20 years in the market, reflects a strategic move to expand its operations in the MENA region, targeting countries like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco. CMILES CX's powerful operations, diverse customer experience solutions, and substantial market share attracted QuestionPro to facilitate this expansion. The acquisition includes the CUEX expo and the ‘CX & Coffee’ podcast, enhancing QuestionPro's product portfolio. The next CUEX expo is scheduled for the end of Q3 or the beginning of Q4 2024.
