Iraq’s Boxy Raises $1.5 Million to Launch AI Logistics Platform
Founded in late 2024, Boxy aims to address the fragmentation of Iraq’s last-mile delivery sector, where most courier companies operate independently without shared infrastructure or standards.

Iraqi logistics startup Boxy has emerged from stealth with $1.5 million in pre-seed funding to launch a unified courier aggregator platform powered by AI. The round was backed by Iraq-focused venture builder
EQIQ, which is also a founding partner in the venture. Founded in late 2024, Boxy aims to address the fragmentation of Iraq’s last-mile delivery sector, where most courier companies operate independently without shared infrastructure or standards. The startup has developed a platform that enables businesses to access, compare, and integrate local courier services through a single API.
This includes order tracking, performance data, and automated courier selection based on cost and delivery speed. Boxy has already onboarded 15 courier partners and facilitated over 300,000 deliveries, with plans to expand into the Kurdistan region and explore regional market entry.
Its team combines logistics, tech, and product experience drawn from Iraq, Jordan, and the UAE. With the fresh capital, Boxy intends to scale operations, enhance its AI routing capabilities, and develop analytics tools to support merchants in optimising delivery performance.
The company’s launch adds to Iraq’s emerging tech ecosystem, where digital infrastructure and e-commerce solutions are rapidly evolving to meet growing demand.
