Real Estate Firm Chestertons Establishes First MENA Office in Morocco
The new operational expansion anticipates a major regional benefit from Chestertons’ close-knit network that shares referrals, global best practice, and new developments within the industry.
Leading international real estate firm Chestertons has announced its operational expansion into Morocco, as well as Spain, Greece, and Cyprus, addressing the growing interest in property investment by investors from the Middle East.
Chestertons Global Franchising was launched in 2019 as a division of the company and is made up of real estate specialists providing a range of services to global clients. Its network is represented in 21 cross-continental countries across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.
In Morocco, the established estate agency business JK Real Estate which specialises in new homes has partnered with Chestertons’ luxury real estate network and will currently be operating as Chestertons Morocco. Based in Moroccan capital Rabat, the launch marks Chestertons first African office. It will oversee operations such as marketing for exclusive properties, including luxury newly-built apartments and villas in the country’s major cities Casablanca, Marrakech, and Tangier, as well as the Fairmont Residences Royal Palm Marrakech.
Chestertons Global Franchising CEO Nick Witty said: “The pandemic has provided the impetus for many people to reassess their lifestyle and how properties in different locations across the world might contribute towards a reimagined vision for the future. At the same time, travel restrictions and lockdowns have presented unprecedented challenges. The marketing, technological, and brand heritage which we offer our partners has proved highly attractive, equipping them with the network and tools to enhance their services. The franchising model also offers local experts the chance to weather the storm and grow their businesses, with the backing of a global network of expertise and support.”
Elsewhere, the Greek expansion will represent some of the most prestigious beachfront properties and private estates on the Greek islands of Corfu, Paxos, Lefkada, Ithaca, Kefalonia, and Zakynthos. In Spain, Chestertons will work with Team España, operating as Chestertons Costa del Sol. Led by Jack Cheshire and managed by Jamie Buss, the business headquarters will be in Marbella, with plans of expanding into the Costa del Sol region over the next few years. As for Cypriot Office, the venture is expected to prove successful for the Middle Eastern market, offering stellar properties and a golden visa program via real estate investment.
