6 Events Not To Miss This February in the Middle East

A new hustling season is kicking off across the Middle East, giving 2018 an exciting start. While Egypt is bringing Canadian-born Hackernest to the American University in Cairo for the first-ever Fishhackathon, the UAE is inaugurating the Seaside Startup Summit, coming straight from Startup Armenia, and the Global Leadership Summit in Dubai. We've gathered seven of the region's must-see events to boost your startup game. 

1. Hackernest's Fishackathon - February 2nd - Cairo

For the first time ever, Canada-based HackerNest has partnered with AUC's Entrepreneurs' Society to host Fishackathon in Cairo, at AUC New Cairo's premises to bring their annual Fishackathon; an annual event motivated by the will to improve humanity and economic prosperity taking over more than 65 cities around the world. The event will kick off on February 2nd at the AUC, and here's the fun part: the local winner not only gets $1000, but also gets to compete at a regional and then global level. You can sign up to the event clicking here.

4. Egypt Career Summit - February 16th - Cairo

The 9th edition of ArabNet Beirut 2018 will take place on February 20, 21, and 22, featuring more than 80 speakers from the MENA region and beyond the Middle East to discuss opportunities in digital media, and entrepreneurship. The event will feature a flurry of activities, including the Innovation Avenue for makers, the Ideathon Competition for aspiring entrepreneurs, the Creative Combat for the marketers and advisors, the Startup Battle for entrepreneurs, and the Banking Innovation Track. 6. Finnovate Middle East - February 26th - Dubai
