Abu Dhabi’s Krypto Labs Launches with a $250,000 Startup Contest

With a contest open to startups across the world, Krypto Labs is launching its Abu Dhabi-based incubator, accelerator and training centre for entrepreneurs from any industry. The competition, its first official startup contest, offers an investment worth up to $250,000for its grand prize. In addition to receiving publicity, mentorship, and investment, winners will be recognised as Krypto Labs’ first officially incubated startup!

Online applications are due by the 21st of September, and 30 shortlisted winners will be get the chance to meet top-tier mentors from around the world, who will help them develop their ideas from September 25th until October 15th. The competitors will be judged based on the uniqueness and viability of their ideas, their potential impact and their financial planning. A group of three finalist teams will be selected to travel to Abu Dhabi's Masdar City for the pitching round and opening ceremony of Krypto Labs on Saturday, October 21st.

The final winner will be offered a $50,000 initial investment, with a further $200,000 contingent on the performance of the business, in exchange for a stake in the company. For all the details, check out the application form on Krypto Labs’ website.
