Applications Are Now Open for Startup Cafe Africa Accelerator
The programme aims to equip high-growth potential applicants with the skills, support, and resources necessary to grow in emerging African markets.
Ghana’s Startup Cafe Africa has launched an accelerator programme to support African startups in growing their companies and to equip them with tools tailored for the African market. Supported by iSpace, HatuaTech, Tribe Capital, GhLondoners network, InvestPro, and HatuaOnPoint, the accelerator aims to provide applicants exhibiting high-growth potential with the skills, support, and resources necessary to grow and scale in emerging African markets.
The programme is fully virtual and industry-agnostic, with the goal of connecting early-stage founders with mentors that stem from a wide variety of backgrounds. Cohort participants are to follow a structured curriculum and would be able to participate in hands-on application of the concepts and practices obtained from the program.
The accelerator will conclude with a demo day in which the startups will present their ideas to a group of investors and media. Startup Cafe Africa’s participation doesn’t end there, for they will continue to support the companies after the programme on an ongoing basis.
Applications for the accelerator are open until May 30th, and the programme will commence in August 2020. Head to www.startupcafeafrica.org.
