Applications Now Open for the Arab Entrepreneurship Rally 2019

The Arab Entrepreneurship Rally competition is being jointly organised by the UNIDO Investments Technology and Promotions Office (ITPO) in Bahrain, the Arab International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Investment, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AAST), and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and is concurrently part of the Arab Business Owners Investors Conference and World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum 2019 on November 11, 12 and 13 in Manama, Bahrain.

The competition calls for any Arab students in a university, especially in the Arab region, to participate in submitting their innovative business ideas with the opportunity of having it reviewed and recognised by certified industry experts. Through its partners and sponsors, the competition will award students for their efforts while inspiring Arab youth to unleash their innovation and convert their ideas to prosperity using action.

The Arab Entrepreneurship Rally’s main mission is to engage and promote entrepreneurship through exposing them to the culture and ecosystem from an early age while having the entrepreneurial mindset engraved in their minds in hopes of becoming a leading expert. Moreover, the competition will provide the students with an opportunity to make a significant impact on society through technological innovation and a major contribution to the world’s economy.

Teams will be granted the chance to submit their innovative business ideas with a supporting video in any of the given industries: Agri-tech, 4^th Generation Industrial Innovations, Programming and Application, Renewable Energy Technology, and Smart Tech. The top team from each of the 22 Arab countries will be shortlisted and invited to nominate one team member to take part in a EDIP1 bootcamp to be held prior to the rally, specifically on the 7 to 9 of November, which will allow them to fine-tune their business plan and work on their pitching skills succeed in the final VIP judging.
