Global Competition XTC Comes to Africa Seeking UN SDG Solutions

The world's largest global competition for startups addressing the UN's Sustainable Development Goals is coming to Africa, as a result of a partnership between Atlantica Ventures and EchoVC. The Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC) seeks entrepreneurs utilising purposeful technology to address the very many issues facing the planet today.

Open to entrepreneurs using new tech or applying existing tech innovatively, XTC is divided up into seven categories: Agritech, Food & Water; Cleantech & Energy; Education; Enabling Technologies; Fintech; Healthcare; and Transportation and smart cities, while ‘Female Founder’ and  ‘COVID-19 Innovation’ awards also await.
